A message from Park View 4U …

“When we set out to develop this park in 2003 none of us realised just where the journey would lead. Our first goal of providing a few swings and slides soon developed into something much bigger. Today we have an amazing park which is testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole community. We would like to thank everyone involved; – the hard working trustees and committee, the many generous businesses, groups, organizations and individuals who have funded the play areas. Fylde Borough Council, Lancashire County Council, and the many other agencies who have helped us. To the community of Lytham for supporting and helping us with our many fund-raising events. And finally, to the many park users for helping us to look after this very special place.

We would like to say a big THANK YOU to the community of Lytham for their continued support. Here is a selection of some of our supporters …

                     To the Ladies from Barclays Bank, who held a cake stall and pound trail on the Piazza in Lytham and raised £1.500. Thank you BARCLAYS.

To Nottingham’s  butchers for selling Delicious Christmas Puddings with £2 from every one being donated to the Park.

Thanks to our local fire brigade for watering our grass seed!!

To the explorer scouts for their tree planting.

To the office staff from AXA for digging during their ‘Hearts in Action Day’.

To Bernard and all at the Clifton Arms for organising the ‘Ladies Day’ and ‘Family Fun Days’.
