Park View 4U alongside the Friends of the Estuary are going to Accrington today to take part in a parade before Her Majesty the Queen. The parade is made up of 500 Voluntary and Community groups throughout Lancashire.

BMX – North Region Summer Series R2

Sunday 13 May saw Park View , Lytham, playing host to Round 2 of the BMX North Region Summer Series.

There were so many entries that the start was delayed but the event took place in a fantastic atmosphere and the competition was fierce.

It really was an event for all ages with some kids looking young enough to have only just learned to ride a bike, and some of the Mums gamely having a go too.

In between there was some very serious competition going on with scrapes and tumbles as the competitors went for the finish line.

The Clifton Arms, Choir, Cup cakes and fantastic company.

What a great night, a big thank you to all who donated the prizes, baked gorgeous cakes and helped out, but most of all thank you for coming along. I am sure that was our first of many socials!!
