It may seem like the last couple of years have been quiet in the life of Park View 4U, with no new developments on the park for a while. However behind the scenes it has been quite hectic! We have been working very hard and have successfully raised enough money to build and staff an exciting new Community Centre and Café on the site of the old changing rooms.
In October 2010 the old, unused, concrete changing rooms on Park View Playing fields was demolished, to make way for our new Community Centre and Cafe.
This is a very symbolic stage in Park View 4 U’s development as we plan for the future sustainability of the park and the new community which has formed as a result. We have put the heart back into Lytham by developing a park which has drawn together so many different people from all walks of life. We are particularly proud to be the first 3G park in the country.
By building the new centre we will give the park a real heart and the opportunity build a stronger community.
