Introducing Lytham’s answer to Gareth Malone!

We are delighted to  announce our musical director as Graham Warrington, who will be assisted by Andrew Barnet, they will lead the choir as they “Sing 2012”.

Cath Powell, Community Development Manager for Park View 4U who is coordinating the Lytham Community Choir explained, “I am delighted that Graham and Andrew are leading the choir they make a great double act which will make rehearsing fun.”

The response to the choir has taken everyone by surprise as Cath explained “We have had over 300 people sign up, it is a real community choir, everyone from the milkman to the Mayoress! We have also had lots of offers of help and support, St Bede’s School is very kindly allowing us to use their hall for rehearsals.”

Graham who is Head of Music at St Bede’s School Lytham said “I can’t wait to get to know the choir members; we are planning to sing a wide range of musical styles from modern pop, jazz standards to West End show songs”
